Faridabad is reeling from a tragic incident after a 22-year-old woman was found deceased in her rented home in Sant Nagar Colony. Police are currently investigating the heartbreaking event, which they suspect to be a suicide, leaving a community searching for answers.
The young woman, identified as Shivani, hailed from Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. She led a routine life, working at a private company in Ajronda and residing with her father. Each workday, she would leave home around 9 AM and return by 6 PM, while her father departed for his own job earlier, around 6:30 AM.
However, Monday saw a deviation from this routine; Shivani was home alone, having not gone to work. The gravity of the situation became apparent later that evening. Around 6 PM, a neighbour named Vijay received a distressing call, informing him that the resident in the adjacent room had reportedly hanged herself. When Vijay arrived home from work, the scene was already grim: police were present, working to break down the door to the locked room.
Upon gaining entry, officers discovered Shivani’s body. Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar, the investigating officer, confirmed that no suicide note was recovered from the scene, adding another layer of mystery to the tragic event. Following the necessary post-mortem examination on Tuesday, Shivani’s body was respectfully handed over to her grieving kin. Authorities are now meticulously probing all circumstances surrounding her untimely death, striving to piece together the events that led to such a profound loss in the quiet Sant Nagar Colony. The community awaits further details as the investigation continues.
