The US Justice Department has unleashed a torrent of new information, releasing over three million pages from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. These documents, including thousands of videos and images (though heavily redacted), aim for transparency but are already stirring fresh controversy and implicating high-profile figures.
Among those named in the newly public files are tech titan Elon Musk, the UK’s former Prince Andrew, and politician Peter Mandelson. The revelations are particularly striking for some. An email exchange from 2012 shows Elon Musk inquiring about the “wildest party” on “our island” in response to Epstein’s assistant.
Another figure, Howard Lutnick, Trump’s commerce secretary, is shown planning a 2012 visit to Epstein’s private island with his family – a stark contrast to his earlier claims of being “revolted” by Epstein years prior and refusing to be in the same room.
Perhaps most damning are the details concerning Prince Andrew. Emails reveal he not only attended an intimate dinner party at Epstein’s New York home but also explicitly invited the convicted sex offender to Buckingham Palace shortly after Epstein’s house arrest. Documents suggest Andrew wrote, “Delighted for you to come here to BP.” Shocking images also appear to show the former prince in a compromising position over a woman.
The release, however, isn’t without its critics. A group of Epstein survivors has condemned the Justice Department, stating that this “transparency” exposes victims while continuing to hide and protect alleged abusers. This latest wave of documents keeps the spotlight firmly on the extensive network surrounding Epstein, reigniting calls for true justice and full accountability.
