She looked relaxed and radiant during a cozy lunch date with her husband, Jasper Waller-Bridge, at The River Cafe in Hammersmith, west London. Sporting a stylish oversized coat and a red woollen hat, the couple were all smiles, laughing and chatting as they enjoyed their midweek meal.
Michelle and Jasper, a television producer and brother to the brilliant Phoebe Waller-Bridge, first met in 2019 through mutual friends. Their romance blossomed, leading to a star-studded wedding in September 2023, attended by many of Michelle’s *Downton Abbey* co-stars, including Lily James and Hugh Bonneville. The world first got a glimpse of her bump at the London premiere of *Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale* in September, where she glowed in a dusky blue gown.
Even with this exciting personal news, Michelle assures us she’ll never truly leave Lady Mary behind. “I don’t think I will ever say goodbye to Mary or Downton,” she shared, “Mary will always be part of me, as will Downton Abbey as a whole. We are such a family that, for us, it never really ends.”
