Originally crafted with opals, these were later replaced with radiant rubies by Queen Alexandra, nestled among intricate diamond lotus flowers and delicate arches. It was a firm favourite of the Queen Mother, and its appearance on Kate was a delightful surprise, as she usually opts for her beloved Lover’s Knot tiara.
