Pastors Take a Stand: A New Mission in the Holy Land

In an unprecedented show of solidarity, over one thousand pastors and Christian influencers have gathered in Israel this week – the largest assembly of its kind since the nation’s founding. This powerful visit, a partnership between Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Friends of Zion Museum, aims to commission these spiritual leaders as crucial “ambassadors” to combat rising global antisemitism and rally support for Israel.

Mike Evans, founder of Friends of Zion, highlighted the urgency of their mission, explaining that Israel faces not just a physical struggle, but a massive “ideological war.” He described a battle being fought online with “anti-Christ type AI” and bots, designed to spread propaganda and silence pro-Israel voices. “The pulpit must speak louder than the propaganda,” Evans stressed, underscoring the vital role of evangelical support.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, echoed this sentiment, urging pastors to use their platforms to “speak with clarity and boldness” against the bigotry targeting Jewish people and Israel. Pastor Jesse Bailey added that too often, cultural voices have drowned out biblical truths from the pulpit, making this gathering a motivator to renew focus on Israel’s significance to God.

Huckabee also warned of a “growing cancer within the evangelical movement” where some question the biblical importance of Israel. He emphasized the danger of this perspective, stating that if God breaks His covenant with the Jewish people, it undermines the very foundation of Christian faith.

The visit included a deeply emotional stop at the Nova Music Festival site, where Hamas terrorists committed horrific atrocities. Zac Jiwa, host of The Food, Wine, and God Show, shared the devastating impact of seeing the site firsthand, stressing that pastors need to witness the truth beyond mainstream media narratives.

This gathering is just the beginning. A massive global campaign is planned for 2026, aiming to reach one million pastors and churches worldwide. The goal is to equip them with a biblical understanding, reinforcing that God’s promises to the Jewish people – and to Christians – remain unbroken. These leaders are stepping up, ready to fight an ideological war with faith and truth.
